Free AWS DVA-C02 practice exams are an efficient way to prepare for the AWS Certified Developer Associate certification. The DVA-C02 focuses on building, deploying, and debugging cloud-native applications on AWS. It's more code and tooling-focused than the Solutions Architect track, with heavy emphasis on Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and the AWS CLI and SDKs.
What DVA-C02 covers
The exam spans five domains: development with AWS services, security, deployment, troubleshooting and optimization, and refactoring. The development domain is the largest, covering how to build serverless applications and interact with AWS services programmatically.
What's in these practice exams
Our DVA-C02 practice questions are designed to test the developer-specific knowledge the exam demands: IAM authentication flows, DynamoDB data modeling, Lambda configuration, CloudFormation, and deployment tooling like CodeDeploy and CodePipeline.
Six sets of 20 questions. The first set is free.
Topics covered:
- Lambda triggers, execution environments, and concurrency
- DynamoDB partition keys, GSIs, and query patterns
- API Gateway authorizers, stages, and throttling
- IAM roles, STS, and Cognito authentication
- SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and Kinesis
- CloudFormation, SAM, and CDK basics
- CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline
- Debugging with X-Ray and CloudWatch
Making the most of practice
DVA-C02 scenarios often hinge on knowing the limits and quirks of AWS services: Lambda timeout limits, DynamoDB throughput calculations, SQS visibility timeouts. These aren't things you'll remember from a single read-through. Practice questions force repeated exposure to the details that actually come up on exam day.
